Cricket season

Yes it’s the cricket season and we’re playing a top quality Bangladesh outfit – possibly as good as the Dutch side. They appear to have been annialated out of sight already. A bit like last night really… accept we produced a fairly epic sized miracle. I am happy today. La di da. Skippity skip. Yep 🙂

Football

Well, even I thought that last night’s match was good (I admit to snoozing when we were 3 goals down), but I love penalty shoot-outs, all that exciting tension… GOAL!
Anyway, I’m even more excited about the trip to Newquay surfing, even though not much surfing will be done if the forecast is accurate! However, I maybe able to get a few small rides on my trusty bodyboard providing someone is willing to run along the shoreline towing me.

Waterfights and the footy

Highly charged and tense game last night. We all got thoroughly despondent after AC scored in the first minute and then followed it up with two more goals. The best we hoped for was a goal from liverpool to restore some pride.

Cue Gerard with an astonishing header which revitalised his team and spurred them on to some decisive play and getting them back to 3-3. Whereupon they reverted to defense and (only just) survived til penalties.

Prompted by Carragher, Dudek performed Grobbelar-style gyrations on the goalline and succeeded in saving 2 and causing 1 to be kicked over the bar.

El Crunch was ecstatic and most pleased.

Dodman, if any waterfights occur today, be sure to retrieve my grey gun and get them while their backs are turned!
