Spotted this snowman on the walk back from station. It’s so big my head only came up to the top button.

The epic snow here seems to have sent the locals into a frenzy of hoarding. We popped over to budgens for a bit of bread to find the shelves pillaged of all nourishment! There were tales of customers buying 16 bottles of milk – surely one can’t drink that much milk before it goes off!?

Anyway, given the amount of turkey in the freezer, we should be fine for food for a while…

So both Han and I have lost our voice now:-( the house is now silent apart from the sound of arms whistling through the air, performing universal symbols of tea, food, etc…

New faces are up. I picked colours more less at random, but it was hard to find photos that worked well with the filter. Let me know if you have any complaints…

I was thinking about changing our blog faces. I was thinking of using a photo, then pumping it through a photoshop filter. What do you think of these? please vote your preference…
    face-options

if we go for the monochrome ones, perhaps each person could have a different colour.

So I was down L’ton beach on sat – riding some gnarly breaks and catching some sick air with my new 9m kite – and dodman and I noticed one of the kitesurfers had arrived in this car:

    orka

he’d added “OR” to the name badge

    spot the difference

I’ve uploaded a few photos from a recent trip to London and camping in cornwall. We stayed a couple of nights near Axeminster in a bed and breakfast, taking in a meal at the River Cottage Canteen (very tasty) and a look at Lyme Regis (we didn’t find any fossils worth bringing home). Once we’d driven to Cornwall and pitched the tent for a planned four night stay, a barrage of non stop wind and regular rain commenced, and after a couple of nights we decide it wasn’t worth the fight and popped home early. But we’d had a couple of good days, fitting in a couple of surfing sessions, a coastal walk and visiting a castle and a couple of towns.
