I’ve just finished reading a book Liv gave me about a geologist called William Smith. Hs always a bit short of the ready, on account of charging around the country digging up fossils. At one point, he says:
“Everyone who travels knows that ready money must be provided for the road. A man’s hand is constantly draining his pocket …”
A sentiment with which I’m sure you will agree.
I don’t remember exactly where the pie shop was, apart from it being in some underground feeding arena. It was there I had my first seedless watermelon. Delectable.
