The pale blue top is doing fine, thanks! It’s getting worn in strict rotation, with about thirty seven others of various hues.

Hi, i forgot to mantion the wine tasting!!!
we did a sopt in napier. there are loads of vinyards, and we headed into one trying to look like pros, and goeff started in sniffing and postulating on oaked and body and wot not!!!! somehow this pretence of knowledge led to parting with a wod of cash for a few bot of the best!!!!! Oh well, we’ll probably never go there again so a once in a life thing! I chose a bright pink ros which i shall endevour to get home without smashing it!!!

Michou – Tan has also developped your taste for cold water!!! she prefers cold taps as apposed to the sea though! Goeff
wellington (i forgot to mention)
well, we made is south in time for the ferry!!! it was a bit of a rush at the end and we had a long drive to wellington but we made it. geoff does most of the driving!
we stayed with some really nice people we met at the wwoofing with regula bleski, i’m sure you remember – the one who only allowd two showers a week!!! anyway, these people came to stay on the farm and invited us down to stay the night before we got the ferry. it was great and they were so welcoming and friendly. a lot of newzealanmders are so nice. we tehn had the day in wellington to spend. we drove around to find the cheapest car park and then headed for the cable car. it was in face a sort of sideways built train that went up a hill and ended at soem botanical gardens. not very inspiring but the gardens were nice and we wondered round them for a while, arguing about the best abd most direct way to get back to toen. i believe geoff won that one!!!
we then went to te papa, the museum in town. it was great and very interesting, set out like a cross between the science museaum and the national history. we went on one of those ride where you are strapped into a seat and then jerked around to the movements on a screen in front of you!! i felt very sick after thet – must be getting old, i always used to wonder how adults felt sick on fair rides and stuff!!!
Wellington is a far nicer city than auckland and was actually nice to walk around. we had to leave the museum and head for the ferry before we had sem everything though.
The ferry was much like on the france, and not notable as it was calm. we did go outside before landing and sew the coast of south island appear through the mist. the skyline looked nice against the evening ski, and going up into the sound was really pituresque.
Hi everyone,
Rather an embarassing moment was had by us recently, and we slunk off rather than face the excrutiating embarrassment of speaking to those cadets.
Liv: congrats on the graduation. How’s job hunting going? Have you considered a life of leisure yet?
Jul: we’re off on the Abel Tasman tomorrow, if the weather isn’t too shocking!
Dod: how did i know that you’d pick that rather fetching photo of me to go on the blogger. glad it was edited for decency (well sort of!) before we sent it back!!
Hope all’s well. I wish I was there to show young Jul and Liv how superb Andre Agassi style back play on the crud court can be used to decimate those who enjoy hogging the net! Well that’s the theory anyway!!
Geoff
Mama, those arm sare looking thinners!! must be all the swimming. i liked the picture of the graduation you sent me, though liv’s hat appears to be too small for his head!!!!
