Hi everyone,

Jul: I’ll be charging you DVD rental fees. Price negotiable. You should be pretty handy at bargaining now!
Dod: The stallion you ask. It’s a distant relative thing. Well not really! Can’t really give a good explanation for it. Also, I hope you aren’t twitching to much from all the coffee, and that the usual dice rules apply!!
Liv: see if you can give Jul a hair cut with those throwing stars!

Geoff

Hail all,

Sounds like mahem at the homestead, what with throwing stars flying everywhere and manic dvd watching and coffee drinking!!!!
Geoff prectically ground that latest packet himself!!! Well, he ground a bit of coffee anyway, in a small restaurent cum coffe shop at the top of a hill in bali! Hope it goes down a treat and that you are freezing goodly quiantities for my joyous reture!!! Yes, i will be returning despite many attenmpt to suggest that i set up house here!!! Many a nice plot of land ready for house building but funds are lacking and a spot of toiling at the good old homestead is required i believe before any abode hunting can commence!!! I believe that the front facing bedroom on the second floor is vacent and i will take this opportunity to book in from feb onwards!!!!!! Cake making in lieu of rent what what!!!!

Well, we are in kerikeri at the mo and i am about tonwrite the large mail so will not dali to long. We found the camsite with the rope swings over the river!!! Have not tested them out yet as they look like the same ropes, and are not sure about plunging into the inky depths of the river. Freezing here last night!!!! The coldest night yet. Itbis however sunny today, and we will be inspecting the town and having a relaxing day in preparetion for the one days labour geoff got us!!!! Shifting a heavy water feature and then lauwn laying in the afternoon. $70 each plus lunch. Can’t say fairer than that!!! There is so much work hear it is leaping out and bitting you on the nose. I fail to see how Jul didn’t get himself a job here!!!! You should have stayed at this classy campsite you morron!!! WE have then organised some wwoofing for wed, a quick trip round the bay of islands and the coramandel and then geoff is going to do a few flying lessons with his birthday money while i hopefully wwoof in a horsey place where if you are good they let you ride!!!!!!! Classey.

Glad the dvd’s are coming in usefull! Hope all the stuff got home ok.

Keep texting.

Love Tanya

PS Jul – must have been a painfull wrench. What are your plans now with regards to toiling or uni??? What is annika going to do? I manages to delete the text you snt me of her e-mail address – the delete reaction kicked in1 Send it again would you. Cheers

items from t

cheers muchly for the clothing and stress balls, tan. Clearly the balls will be put to good use, much stress keeping this place in order. Jul and I have been testing out the throwing stars – hurling them in to a large stave. needless to say, jul continuously misses.

Jul

Welcome back to Blighty! I am going on a training course to learn how to stop psychopaths from beating you up. Sadly I am not allowed to use the old trusty “poke ’em in the eyes and kick ’em in the balls” tactic and we have a “no restraint” policy so I guess it’s all about running away and hiding like a big girly wuss. I asked about tazar guns but all I got in return was a blank stare… because of this course I am working every day this week for between 6-12 hours, however, I will be around on Wed and Thurs after 3pm. Perhaps I can practise my death grips on you and Liv.

DVDs

Your second Singapore package arrived the day before Jul; so now we have heaps and heaps of DVDs to wile away the long evenings. After a day or two of having him back here, it is as if Jul had never left! Tranquil mealtimes were already a thing of the past, with Liv spearing the largest portion of meat and yes-manning left, right and centre; and now we have a fourth point of view, most forcefully put, in round table discussions, by someone who’s clearly honed his debating skills during late night hostel badinage. For self preservation, I’ve clearly got to learn to take a back seat and not insist on the last word.

Mama started drinking marigold tea for ‘eyesight acuity’, as per your Chinese herbal instructions; and, lo and behold, this morning, she claimed a major transformation had occurred, and she was able to see more clearly than for a decade.

More coffee! We can’t handle this much. We only have a thimblefull after lunch each day. In fact, we’ve just had it. One of lifes all too brief pleasures.
