Weekend

Lolo and Mike came for the weekend. They and Mama went off on the bikes and I stayed behind to welcome those who were on the gallery trail. Some good comments and one paltry sale.
I crafted a saw bench with help from Mike, who also cut some of the yew tree down. They wanted to try out ‘life with cats’, so we offered to lend them the fur bag; but they were afraid of the wrath of Tan, should anything unfortunate befall him in London.

bali

Bali was never really an option as you peeps aren’t there for very long after my graduation. Also, cos the tickets are pricey, it’s olny really worth it if I go for a good long time. Which in turn means more expediture. Unlike some, I have no wish to fully deplete my bank account;-) Australia was an option but picey too.

Tennis has gone ok, won my match in the mixed doubles (with a girl called Erika), but we lost overall. And in the mens seconds, I won my singles but lost the double (with guy called Mike – inconsistant like me, so didn’t really work as a partnership!), and overall we won.

Most pleasing day really loads of sports to watch: saw a bit of rugby – york were rampant – and some cricket.

Ho, ho, ho

This German comedy troupe you’re hanging around with, Jul: how long are they in NZ for; what’s their itinerary?
Have any of them been Wwoofing?
