crud

the first crud game of the season yesterday. played varient crud with dod and normal crud with geoff. the ground was a little moist – we made quite a few dents with our big toes. My custom bat seems in good shape. I predict many poor imitations in the coming season.

It rained all last night and some of today. Forcast is for rain all week. Perhaps it was a bit premature to start playing!

Varient crud being the original crud that we played on the beach the other day. two boxes spaced a good distance apart to create a virtual net.

Easter Monday

We had a great afternoon at the beach where we played original crud till our arms were dropping off. The tide clock did its work so we arrived when the sea was way out. I had made two pizzas which went down well. Some people were actually swimming.

went on walk with mama due to not being able to go on bike ride – one arm not being suffucient! much exitment was had charging round the garden stocking up on choc. the hardest one to find being juls bunny in a sock on the line! arm is a pain in the neck – can’t slice my own bread and such things. hair is the biggest pain as is constantly knotted. risk game would have been fine if dod hadn’t jibbered onabout some prehistoric rules! missions are the way forward i say. dod is maing a pizza and we are planning a jaunt to the beach where i can watch them playing crud. rafreshing sounds of pure piano….

Risk

Just finished a fairly fractious game of Risk. Mama mumbling in the background about how the game should have been taken to a charity shop years ago, Tan wittering on about how much more fun it was without any of us lot playing, me complaining how nobody was adhering to the rules laid down in the official Rule Book, Liv pontificating on the excessive heat, Jul unhappy with the colour of his plastic armies, Geoff doing a reasonable Rimmer impersonation … all in all, most enjoyable, with everyone stomping off to bed or elsewhere with a song (not) on their lips.

Earlier, four of us went on a killing uphill bike ride, followed by an excellent descent.

too much egg

Gadzooks! Eaten far too much chocolate!

Went on a bike ride earlier to the bluebell wood – pretty tired. I think my bike may be made out of some sort of lead…
