I would consider telling the bearded representatives next time you are told you are unwelcome at a campsite that they are operating a ‘discrimination’ policy and that you will take your case up with the Human Rights Commission; then they will in all probablility have a huge fine imposed, might have their site impounded, and you will win substantial damages for the trauma caused.
In fact, I feel you might have grounds for a mild case of trauma already. Weren’t you refused the right to stay another night? As you say, you “felt about as welcome as a kick in the face”. Didn’t you, on reflection, experience a certain degree of ‘fear and trembling’, such that you might have to go to the trouble and expense of councelling? Add to that the fact that such trauma, even with councelling, could have permanant, debilitating effects, and I think you have sufficient grounds for what we amateur lawyers call ‘a case’.
Let me know if you require representation. I should be happy to act on your behalf.
