Good photos. Can almost feel the heat! The fossil looks like something called a Sand Dollar. You can find lots on the beaches in the Gulf of Mexico.

I did wonder about that caption, although, as it happens, my mum probably is older than that crappy dolmen it would have taken a couple of blokes a matter of minutes to knock together last week but which is alleged to predate antiquity.
