How big are the “free thermal spas”?

Spa Lodge looks fairly central with “free thermal spa”.
Cactus Jack claims to have “cheap internet”.

Sunset Lodge is the only hostel that appears on a little map of its own – “2 min walk from lake”, it says; but with no reference to how far that is from “town”!!!
It does say “home away from home”, though.
Actually, I’ve just noticed, if you look in the list which shows how many beds there are, the percentage ratings, etc, the third column along tells you how far each hostel is from the town centre. Sure enough, Sunset Lodge is in a league of its own!

Not doing something in order to save money is one of the first modules in my correspondance course.

Haven’t you got the BBH booklet? My copy shows three hostels, all nestling in the middle of town! Where are you heading for after this?

Nowt much to say, here. Taupo may or may not be an agreeable place. I can barely remember it. I think we must have passed through it, noticing as we did so the number of people carrying wads of dollars looking for convenient bins to drop them in.
Onward and upward (or Northward, as we Kerikerians know it).
