Granny’s 80th

It was great to see all those familiar faces again after six drought years following the sad demise of the Fambridge tennis tournament. Everyone looked well, the weather was kind, we were well fed and watered, conversation flowed freely, everyone wondered who Geoff was, Jul’s hair was remarked on and Clare’s kids made it seem like there were four generations rather than three present.

The youth element went up to London for a sleepless night’s revelry. After taking tea in Rosemary and Andrew’s roasting sitting room, we returned home. Hopefully, it won’t be another six years before we all see each other again.

Unwanted parcel

Clearly it will be my civic duty to refuse delivery of this artifact, as and when it does arrive, presumably by stagecoach.

Nay Avast!

I tried Avast! and it screwed up my system. So, I’ve moved to Antivir, which seems to work okay.

I ordered a book which was ‘shipped’ on Nov 1. No sign of it two weeks later! I trust the Mac is on 24 hour delivery?
