Babies and Gorrilaz

Hey! Nice baby and mother pics Nicky – not sure about the herbatory though…

Although my opinion of Damon Albarn would be that he is a grumpy old twat I have to confess that his “Gorillaz” album “Demon Days” is really rather good. I was persuaded to part with 100 hard earned baht for it last week (just under 1 pound 50) and given that Nicki likes Blur I thought that he, and indeed, you all should check it out. Especially since you can download it in about 5 minutes and not even have to shell out a few baht. It is an album and should to listened to as such.

(Going back to Thailand tomorrow after having repeatedly samples the excellent Beer Loa several times a night)

I await your opinions

Thanks Liv!

Wow! What with us not having a guide to Loas and having arrived here this morning Wikitravel is the perfect thing to be telling me about today. Thanks Liv!

WAH!

I just arrived in Malaysia after six months in India and thought I’d better check out livster.net to see if anyone had been born recently. Congratulations Tan and Geoff! Boy or girl and name are my questions!? The first one you can answer, the second I realise may take a while.

love from tom and sasha

Congratulations

Dear Geoff and Tan

Bloody hell, are you married now then? You must be (and therefore by extension we must all be (Liv, Jul, Sasha, Hannah, myself) getting very old and serious and maybe even responsible. Oh well, as long as we can still have fun I think it will be tolerable. Gosh ,it so nearly could have been us, but here we are in India and instead it’s you married with a little one coming. We wish you both good luck and happiness together (just like everyone else keeps saying) and congratulations! We look forward to seeing the little ginger blighter when we return in February (and the baby too Tan. Aha ha).

With love from Tom and Sasha

Am still punishing myself by forcing myself to stay in the hell which is Gokarna. Worst of all is body surfing in the sea – catching the waves like body boarding but just with my body and playing “dive and catch” while there is a gap in the waves. The beautiful secluded beach with the good food and 100r per night accomodation is very difficult to stomach too…

Am going to buy train ticket to Delhi if possible today and leave in about a week.

Gokarn

Firstly, Gokarna is not in Goa- I thought you were in Goa.

Secondly, despite Geoff and Tan telling us Gokarna was awful and you calling it hell… we are in GOkarna! We have been for a week and are loving it. The town is not great but Om beach is cool, chilled and tropical beach paradise as far as we are concerned. We spend all day Brockbank style – i.e. in hammocks reading then having the occasional swim and meal. We must have missed you – what’s wrong with this place anyway (apart from the infinite amount of Israelies with chillum)?
