If you dig out those sheets of paper I printed off one of them should give the name and phone number of the hostel at Motueka which is about 60 km across the bay from Nelson. They said:

We do a weekly rate of $110.00 in a six bed room and there is loads of work at this time. Just call in and see us if there is any room.

Meanwhile, the place in Kerikeri (called Aranga) whose phone is 09 407 9326 said:

Our single rooms are $95.00 per week. There is plenty of work starting in April fruit picking. We require many workers to fill the positions. The best thing to do would be to contact us closer to the time to make reservations and for more specific dates and details.

Remember to wear your hat!!!!! Ask about the charger adapter. Have fun.
