Options

My “options” advice email has been banned by Mama and Liv who say I make things too complicated and should let Jul decide for himself. (As if he didn’t, anyway …)

That hotel looks a bit of alright, Tan. I was disconcerted to discover from the hotel website that there are still travel warnings to Bali. Also, there’s some illigal gambling scam to avoid. Still, it should be okay. Remember to get your free massage after the 7th night.

According to what I’ve read, Bali is fairly cheap away from the luxury end.

hail snortlet! so sorry about the mix up and all that rot!
why in gods name are you staying in that insanly expencive palace, unless ofcourse it is being funded by a higher being?

i shall be arriving at the opointed time. i might say longer in bali though. also annika may well be coming also. about ten days later i believe. though this is subject to change.

singapore airline minions changed my flight back home so that i don’t have to stay in singapore. actually not quite what i wanted. i went to the air newzealnd freaks and the denied that the changes had taken place. i amgetting a bit fed with them by now. entualy thy back down and admit the possibilty that i may be corect, but it was impossible for me to not stop in singapore on my way to bali. i will give them another crack tomorow.

What what??? Where were you nibblet???? Not only are you ham fisted in many things, you seem to have difficulty geting on a plane! Your name was clearly on the list. the lady at the singapore airlines chech in looked down her nose a goodish bit whilst informing me that your booking had been cancelled after you didn’t turn up, what? Saw many an indi hat and joddled maddly only to find it was some random. Most distressing to find you not around. Assumed you had beeen detained for drug smuggling or something, what with looking like a extra from some random cow boy film!!

al flesh is as grass anyway! Well, as it stands you are here on the fifth, but don’t feel obliged to comen to bali, though you might like to check out this hotel where we will be staying!!!!

Pink locks

tan rang to say that they saw continuous streams of indy-hatted women with flowing pink locks emerging from the plane – they waved and yodelled each time.

Apparantly your name was on the manifest, so mayhaps the flight was ok… isn’t it?

T and G are staying in singapore until your next flight – best make sure you get on it this time, hey what?

Flights/Trading Post

The ‘going to Auckland twice’ bit is presumably because they thought you had used the Kerikeri-Auckland leg, after which you should have gone directly to Singapore, since you had already stopped over in Auckland on the Nelson-Kerikeri bit.

It seems that helpful person in Napier who failed to charge you the correct amount also failed to do what she said!

It’s as well to remember the words of Marcus Aurelius at times like these. Whatever befalls us is, indeed, part of the great web.

Just so it’s crystal clear, Jul, the rules of the ticket allow a certain overall mileage but no return to the same place, apart from a ‘not leaving the airport’ stopover. At least, that’s how I understand it. So bear that in mind concerning Singapore. Also, the flight T&G are on is
SQ146 at 1400 on 6th July; returning SQ147 at 1955 on 25th July.

The Trading Post reopened yesterday. Apart from a different building, and smarter cash registers, the goods on sale and the people in red shirts are the same as before.

Have you already had your birthday, Tan? I mean, a ‘pretend’ birthday, before you left? Did we give you something, then?
