Your mum and I had a most enjoyable meal of fish and chips and a shared brimming beaker of tepid cola sitting on the bench beneath the rustic pergola, in celebration of our upcoming wedding anniversary. Gozo is green(ish) and worth a visit. Remember the cart tracks – you can’t swim in them or eat them but they’re the most interesting thing I remember about Malta.
