Another day, another interview. This time in Hungerford. In related news, the star wars 3 release date is set: “May 19, 2005”. And I was so sure it was going to be released this year!
Year: 2004
nonsense! we had advanced greatly in the game we were playing!
Walk
Mama and I went for a three hour stroll along the route of the old canal. It was very windy but pleasant enough. Arriving back, expecting to catch the whiff of an evening meal being prepared, we were much surprised to find the cravens more or less where they had been when we started out. Most disconcerting.
Resting of eyes
From my experience of travelling up to London around commuter time, most of them do ‘rest their eyes’, from the moment they board the train to the moment it arrives. They also sit in the same seat every day, giving you a strange look if you’re there instead!
interviews
Had an interview in Luton today. Missed my stop that I was meant to change at (I think i may be been resting my eyes at that point) and ended up adding an hour on to the journey by going to brighton. I don’t understand how people can commute that sort of distance every day. I’m knackered after one!
liverpool
just back from a weekend in liverpool. It was packed with seemingly endless hordes of townies in their tracksuits and hideous trainers (often groups of friends would have matching pairs…). really, it was quite funny. We noticed several shops selling a higher quality of tracksuit made by Versace and other labels. revolting. Dispite the townies, liverpool was actually reasonably nice and I didn’t see any cars propped up on bricks.
Had a great time. hadn’t seen most of them since RCP, so it was nice to catch up.
They are trying to get me to go to Reading festival or Glastonbury.
