i’m back on for footy tonight – drinks are cancelled.
I think i’m gonna go with the train option. i’ll buy my single today, but i’ll let you (JUL) buy the return bit.

Well, the plan is we five go up in Bertie on Saturday. If you come on Tuesday evening by train on a return ticket, Jul can use it to get back on Friday and you can come back with us in Bertie on Saturday. If you drive up, we’ll return in Bertie with Jul on Friday, and you drive back with T and G on Saturday. Claro?
The only downside of having only Bertie up there is getting around on the two days when there are six of us. The downside of you driving is it’s a hell of a hike on Tuesday evening after a long day’s work, it costs more and … er … that’s it.
just checked my holiday. I have 27th to the 29th booked, so i will be leaving on the tuesday evening.
What was the concensus re train or car?
that photo is revolting
Maybe I’m being too impatient!
“The DSA surveyed people who had just passed their test and came up with the following which may be of interest.
Remember these are averages and everyone is different.
Average time taken to learn in months: female = 14.6 male = 12.0.
Average hours with Advanced Driving Instructor: female 51.9 hrs male 36.2 hrs.
Average private practice: female/ male both just over 32 hrs”
Don’t you mean bellies?
Where did you dredge that photo out from?
