Took me a moment to figure out what a desmond was. I have almost resigned myself to getting a desmond – the only thought that consoles me, is that a desmond at york is worth a 1st at cambridge… or something like that.

Played in a charity tennis tournament yesterday – didn’t win but fun was had by all. also a new layer of sunburn was added to my forhead – mayhaps I should get some sunblock?

Not satified with only three hours of tennis, I joined Chris and Kyle on a run. We ran a breakneck pace to what might have been lendel bridge (I can’t be sure) in town via the millenium bridge. Overall it took us 50mins. Chris and I decided, to the amusement of kyle, that we would run with our shirts off and chant in the manner of US marines. By the end we were glistening with sweat and rather red so I took a photo for prosperity.

We then had a fairly epic bbq round the back of the block, by the lake. £5 for a good sized disposable bbq. I my rainbow trout – wrapped in foil and no more than 5mins each side. Absolutely lush and tasteful. As an added bonus, the skin stuck to the foil and peeled away in an effortless manner. New potato and spring onion salad (with the merest hint of dressing) accompanied this – also tasty.

At £2 for two in M&S, you just can go wrong really!

well, gaktar to that!

All done. fairly hellish exam, but it probably was the best i could hope seeing as I hated and didn’t really understand the course.

I’m off to play some golf and relax for the first time in 3 weeks.

Well, only one more exam to go (Fri). I feel the looming presence of a 2:2, but I shall attempt to stave it off.

Malta sounds a bit touristy.

Hey ho, back to work.

Pleasing time

well, I must say, sitting here with a quart of Vaseline up my nose, trying to concentrate on the topics of Expected Entropy and Differential Cryptanalysis is pretty darn exciting!

Why vasaline, I hear ask? Well, hay fever hit last week and after attempting to gin and bear it like any staunch english man, I pegged it in to town and bought some antihistamine. There were about eight to choose from, so I picked at random. Had i a die, then I would have use that.

I promptly took one and strode home and upon arriving started working. After about half an hour I was feeling fairly lethargic and by an hour I was near-dead to the world, I was so sleepy. So I valiantly strove onward and about five hours later it began to wear off.

Just as well I gave the hellish drugs a trial run before the exams! They did work, and were even meant to be non-drowsy, but I shall try and get another brand next week. Unfortunatly my exams are this week.

So Clearly, vaseline is the only solution.

I say leave the anke black! Black as the sky!!!

twitching eyes

Malta hey… nice. What are these fabled sledge tracks?

jul: Spooks is a MI5/6 program. second series. I vaguely remember the 1st so I guess you must have watched it too.

Biscu, this doxy stuff sounds a bit hellish. Methinks I’ll stear clear of malaria-infested hellhole if I go trvelling…

Had my first exam yesterday. Only 1.5hrs, went ok.

Oh and I saw Matrix 2 the other day. I thought it was good, but everybody except for chis hated it. Throuble is, they went in to the film expecting to hate it and generally with a nitpicking attitude. Thus preventing them from suspending disbelief, which solid will tell you, if the key to enjoying any film. Personally, I thought it was fairly good, but should have been more of a standalone film. And I didn’t like the preachy bit in the cavern. and the rest of the preachy stuff. also, who switched the matrix back on? Didn’t neo turn it off at the end of the last one?

jul, why is your eye twitching?

throwing star

I’ll have one too. tho how you will get it thru customs I don’t know….

The van looks truely hideous, yet, at the same time, quite nifty.

Watched “Spooks” last night – not bad at all.
