I just thought i’d blog this for the amusment of my fellow bloggers.

As to me, we are back in chiang mai and then on our way to laos. I am suffering greatly from these blasted bites, curse them. The ones on my leg converged to make a huge one that took up the best part of the back of my theigh. As if this was not enough pain and ichiness, one found and un citronellad part under one foot, and it went hard and painful so that o couldn’t walk on it. much pain for oe night. Just about going down the next day, but again they were not satified. My ear started to swell up. Some mozie has for a semce of humour out there because no sooner had this happend than the other ear swelled up to!!! I woke up in the morning with two huge ears like boxers ears. Cor blimey, i’m glad to be getting out of hear. But they couldn’t have enough of my. I have a goobye bite on my sholder, forearm, and a very painful one on each hand. I hoped that thay was the lot. One sleepless night because of the foot and then another because of the ears was enought for me. But i’ve just discovered one on my forehead as well. I can bearlt type it’s so uncomfortable. any sugesstions for relief?

Mama says wear socks to prevent bites. I say get out of the festering hole where these insects breed. They might be plague bearing, too.

Jul’s in Opononi, having fun, or so he said, in a text message. Opononi is some backwater in Northland. According to the hostel booklet, one treat is “boogie-boarding on sand-dunes directly into water.”

Minion didn’t come back until late afternoon today.

I got a replacement Archos since my old one was crook. Identical design, but black rubberoid corner things instead of blue. Most disconcerting.

hail, just to say that all the things i send are for using. There is no pont them sitting in the room for the best part of a year. All the cloths are for you mama, and the box you could put on the piano. Aks liv if he wants any of the sheets?

Hail liv, take my tent if you need one initaly. It is the cheapest way to travel. It will sleep two, or three at a push and is easy to put up.
I recommend lake Garda, which was classy! You should also take a stove as it is cheap to make your own food and such like. I advise macaroni with frankfurtas and cheese. Most nourishing! Palma is a wast of time, but if you go near verona or florance they are woth a look in. Sounds like it could be great fun.
